Laugh til you Cry Tuesday.

One of my all time favorite emotions is Laughing through Tears.
So, I just couldn't keep it to myself and had to share this with all you wonderful people.
But, I must warn all the guys out there that are reading/watching this post, you might not want too.
It's about a real life business called Hello Flo,
that sends out feminine products and candy to girls when
Mother Nature gives her her monthly gift.
This video is called "First Moon Party".  Make sure you pee before you watch it.
Their commercials are so hilarious, I promise your face will hurt from laughing so hard.
Enjoy, Heidi

You are the Hero in your Journey of Life.

I am completely fascinated with Joseph Campbell and his theory of  "The Hero's Journey".  All the great stories we love so much are because we can relate to them as they inspire us.  We are all the Heroes in our Journey of life and we will all go on hundreds even thousands of adventures as we grow older, deeper and more authentic.  So when life hits you in the head  just think of it as the first step on the Yellow Brick Road, or the invitation to Hogwarts.  Below are two wonderful videos on "The Hero's Journey".  Enjoy, Heidi

Virtual Beach House Make-Over.

I have found another wonderful house I would LOVE to get my hands on and renovate.
For the time being, I will have to just give it the ultimate virtual make-over.
Enjoy, Heidi

I love the soft gray for the trim work.  A new metal roof with signature Aussie bullnose veranda would do wonders for the exterior.
I would love to expose the rock of the rock wall and plant lots of roses.
(is that possible MOTH? Or should I have Jboy power wash it and just paint the whole thing?)

This Aussie beauty is in a small town called Edithburgh in South Australia.
There is a house behind it and then the Gulf St. Vincent.
Edithburgh has some pretty special point of interest.
I would LOVE to explore its coastline, but even more so, I would love to see first hand the very rare Leafy Sea Dragon in all its majesty in its coral forests and underwater grassland.
I wouldn't need a swimming pool since the town has one built into the shore.

Now you see why I fell in love with the town.
The house is a fixer upper no doubt, but I've tackled worse.
Here is what I see in my mind as I flip thru each room of the house.
 Belclaire House
Once you walk thru the front doors of the entry hall, you'll feel right at home
with warm floors, walls and wood furniture.
You can never have too many beach baskets.

.Love the blue, white and natural colors--so calming and relaxing

A casual comfy living room with linen slipcovered sofas and chairs plus blue and white paisley pillows, sisal rugs and ocean treasures to adorn the room.

Then we have 3 bedrooms.

White bedding with blue accents. Easy to change out and update.

A sailboat,  a seashell and a couple of palm fronds
is enough to give this little bathroom that nautical flare.

I love my big claw footed tub, by my husband love a shower.
This set up makes us both happy.

It would have to have some demolition work done to the back and then rebuild a warm and welcoming open kitchen like this one, that shares it's space with the living and dining room areas.
A panty on the right side of the kitchen with a utility room on the back side that leads to the bath.
Love this country kitchen. The door is fabulous! My favorite kitchen so far and I think its because of all the doors outside... dutch door! Beams are great.
This is what you find when you walk out the back door from the kitchen or utility room.
A perfect place for dining alfresco with the balmy ocean breezes filling the air.

After taking  evening walks on the beach, we can relax in the moon light and bistro lights or chandelier or fire in the outdoor fireplace or all the above.

I'm gonna be Brave and Put Myself Out There.

It's hard to believe that it has been 8 years since I opened my florist.
Holding a vase of flowers has gotten me in many doors that are closed to others.
I truly believe that this gift was given to me not only to transform different flowers into expressions of love from one to another, but to take me on a incredible journey.
This post is for every florist or home magazine in the greater Adelaide area.
If you like what you see and you are needing hire a floral designer in the future, keep me in mind.
Enjoy, Heidi
